MEWO S.A. is implementing a project co-financed by the European Funds:

“Development of a New Process for the Provision of Marine Survey Services Using an Integrated AI-Assisted System for the Remote Transmission and Analysis of Marine Survey Data.”

The objective of the project is to develop an innovative process for the provision of marine survey services, enabling offshore survey operations to be carried out more efficiently, safely and with a greater degree of automation.

The project involves the development of an integrated system comprising:

• remote transmission of marine survey data from survey vessels;
• automated assessment of data quality;
• near-real-time analysis of marine survey data using artificial intelligence and machine learning;
• remote management of survey operations from the onshore Remote Operations Centre (ROC).

The implementation of the solution will:

• significantly reduce data processing times;
• improve personnel safety;
• reduce the need for specialists to work offshore;
• establish a new standard for the delivery of marine survey services.

The project includes a research and development (R&D) module and a digitalisation module designed to strengthen the security and resilience of the company’s IT infrastructure.
