New Offshore Wind Farm - old challenges

MEWO S.A. initiates environmental surveys for yet another OWF investor in the Baltic Sea

With the start of a new phenological season, the MEWO S.A. company has initiated surveys of seabirds, migratory birds and bats across another areain the Baltic Sea intended for the construction of an offshore wind farm.

The surveys are conducted for the request of one of the investors for the purpose of obtaining an environmental approval.

MEWO S.A. is the biggest private and independent engineering company that conducts offshore, geological, environmental and underwater surveys in Poland. It provides services and solutions for the offshore energy industry in the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and in the southern part of the North Sea, among others, with regard to oil and gas, renewable energy sources or underwater telecommunication systems.
