MEWO S.A. PRIVACY POLICY

  1. MEWO Spółka Akcyjna with its registered office in Straszyn at ul. Starogardzka 17 A, (83-010) Straszyn[JJ1] , entered into the National Court Register kept by the District Court Gdańsk-Północ, 7th Commercial Department, under KRS number 0000625922, NIP number 583-315-93-42, with a share capital of PLN 200,000 and paid-in capital of PLN 200,000 (hereinafter referred to as: “Administrator”), respects privacy and makes every effort to protect the data it collects and processes in accordance with the national regulations and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as: “GDPR”).

  3. In view of the wording of the provision of Article 37(1) of the GDPR, the Administrator has not designated a data protection officer, since there is no obligation for them to do so.
  4. The personal data processed by the Administrator are dealt with in accordance with the applicable provisions of law, including the provisions of the Polish law and of the GDPR.
  5. The grounds for processing personal data include:
    1. the implementation of a contract and taking steps at the request of the person who is the data subject prior to entering into the contract pursuant to point (b) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR,
    2. the implementation of informational, promotional and marketing objectives of the Administrator pursuant to point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary. The personal data are processed using electronic or traditional mail and telephone.
  7. Under the relevant provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data and the personal data of your children and the right to their rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to data transfer, the right to object to processing, the right to withdraw the consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing of data which was made on the basis of the consent before its withdrawal.
  8. If you believe that the processing of your personal data by the Administrator violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
  9. The MEWO‘s website stores automatically the acquired information concerning the IP addresses of the visitors and users of the website. The data collected in this way is used to perform periodic analysis of statistics on the number of visitors and their activity as well as to perform analysis of the MEWO‘s website functionality.
  10. Personal data shall not be processed by automated means (including profiling).
  11. Subject to paragraphs 12 and 13, personal data shall not be transferred to third parties, except for the entity providing tax and accounting services to the Administrator, and unless the Administrator is required to disclose the information fulfilling their legal obligation.
  12. The MEWO‘s website uses cookies. The cookie policy is contained in a separate policy entitled “Cookies”, which is available on the MEWOs website.
  13. The MEWO‘s website may contain links to other websites. The Administrator is not responsible for the privacy policies of these websites. When clicking a link, the user should familiarise themselves with the privacy policy used by the website visited. This privacy policy applies exclusively to MEWO.
  14. The development of the MEWO‘s website, expansion of the Administrator’s economic activities, technological advance or an amendment to the provisions of law may give rise to the need or obligation to introduce changes to the privacy policy. Should the privacy policy be revised, the appropriate modifications will be posted on the MEWO‘s website under the “Privacy Policy” tab.

The MEWO‘s website uses Google Analytics to analyse the MEWO‘s website use. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated concerning the MEWO‘s website is used to create reports about the website use. Google will store and use this information.

The MEWO‘s website may publish Google AdSense interest-based advertisements. These are tailored by Google to reflect the interests of a Client. These interests are determined by Google through tracking the user’s behaviour across the entire network – using cookies. Opting out of the AdSense partner network is possible at: http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html. In the Chrome web browser, you can adjust cookie settings by clicking the following: “Settings”, “Advanced”, then in the “Privacy and security” section – “Content settings”, “Cookies”.
