MEWO innovation recognised by PARP
In early December, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) published a list of projects selected for co-funding under the SMART path of the ‘European Funds for a Modern Economy’ programme. We are proud that the process innovation submitted by our MEWO Team, entitled ‘Development of a new process for providing research services at sea using an integrated AI-assisted remote survey data transmission and analysis system’, ranked first!
The funding amounting to PLN 4 940 587.81 will help our Company develop an advanced AI-assisted marine survey process as part of our Remote Operations Centre (ROC), worth PLN 12 million in total. Preparing the application required exceptional commitment and professionalism, as the ‘R&D’ module combined with the ‘Digitisation’ module, rely on solid data, measurable effects, and rigorous performance indicators. Special recognition for the effective implementation of the entire process goes to Robert Puttkammer (IT Infrastructure Team Leader) and Krzysztof Malicki (CFO).
We are proudly keeping our fingers crossed for the smooth implementation of this solution, which will ensure the secure transfer of survey data directly from vessels, as well as remote data monitoring with the option of visual verification, while engaging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools for preliminary analysis of survey outputs. The ultimate benefit for MEWO and our Clients will include even faster processing of data collected for offshore projects.
